Autorama is a “hot rod” show that was first put on in 1952 as a fundraiser for the Michigan Hot Rod Association. Over the years it grew into one of the premiere events of it’s kind in the country as well as being a fixture on the Michigan automotive events calendar. Though the show has, at times, waned because of tough economic times, this years show seemed well attended by both participants and spectators. Though the show was originally a showcase for traditional style hot rods, you can see almost any kind of customized vehicle now, including motorcycles, trucks, rat rods, high-dollar one-of-a-kind machines and even boats.
